Ever since his family purchased a computer in the mid 90s with a 14.4K modem and 8 MB of RAM,
computers have been a major part of Alex’s life. This led in his adult life to work in Web
development at Western Michigan University for 7 years before following a call to ministry. Upon
graduating from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago, Alex supplemented his part-time first
call at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Lansing and second call at Christ United Church in DeWitt by building websites for churches, non-profits, and businesses. Alex also currently serves part time in campus ministry at Michigan State University for the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan.
In his free time Alex enjoys being out in nature biking, hiking, or skiing, reading, watching anything sci-fi, and traveling.
