SUMMARY:The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity & Ecumenical Prayer Service
DESCRIPTION:The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity is celebrated from January 18 – January 25\, 2025. This week brings together Christian denominations from around the world to pray that Jesus’ desire that his followers be one come true (John 17:21-23). This year’s theme is “Do you believe this” (John 11:26). The 1\,700th Anniversary of the Nicene Creed is also being celebrated. Learn More.\n\n \n\nAn Ecumenical Prayer Service\, co-officiated by Bishop David Bard of the United Methodist Church of Michigan\, Bishop Earl Boyea of the Catholic Diocese of Lansing\, and Bishop Craig Satterlee of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America\, will take place at University United Methodist (1120 S. Harrison\, East Lansing) on Friday\, January 17\, at 6:30PM. Fellowship and refreshments will follow!

DESCRIPTION:Join Bishop Craig Alan Satterlee and Pastor David Sprang for a one day retreat that will help youth (7th-12th graders) name Jesus’s presence in their lives and give them the ability to share their story with others. \nThis retreat will be held on Saturday\, January 18\, 2025 from 9:00am – 3:00pm at Zion Lutheran Church in Cadillac\, MI.
