Bishop Satterlee Re-elected at Synod Assembly

The Rev. Craig Alan Satterlee was re-elected to serve a six-year term as bishop of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) during the synod assembly May 16-18 in Mt. Pleasant, MI.

Bishop Satterlee was re-elected on the fifth ballot with 152 votes to 113 votes for the Rev. Bill Uetricht, pastor of First Lutheran Church in Muskegon, MI. The Rev. Chrysanne Timm, Assistant to the Bishop, was also a nominee on the fourth ballot with 70 votes to 71 for Uetricht and 126 for Satterlee.
