In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the ordination of women, the Women’s Jubilee Committee is creating a digital collection of sermons written by women from across the synod. The sermons will be based on the Revised Common Lectionary, complementary series for Year B (2020-2021). All rostered women are invited to sign up to submit a sermon for publication. The goal is to have the broadest diversity of voices across all texts. Texts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Sermon manuscripts should be submitted in .doc format and should be 10-15 minutes in length (about 5-7 pages, double spaced, 12 point font). They can be either a previously delivered sermon or new for the year. Please send your sermons to Rev. Kjersten Sullivan at pastor@tlcbattlecreek.org.
The deadline for submission is Monday, June 22, 2020.
