In the wake of last night’s severe storms across Michigan, we are holding you in our prayers. We know that many communities have experienced heavy rain, flooding concerns, and the threat of tornadoes; and we want to check in with each of you.
As additional rain remains in the forecast, we are especially mindful of the continued risk and the strain this may place on your communities. If your congregation or community has been impacted in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out. The synod has resources available to support you, including financial assistance, as well as cots and personal care kits for those in need.
You are not alone in this. We are here to walk alongside you and to respond as we are able.
