The Synod Hunger Team is hosting a series of Zoom meetings for congregational hunger leaders in our seven synod conferences. The purpose of these one hour meetings will be to network and support each other in our hunger work during this time of the coronavirus pandemic.
Our churches have many challenges during this time of crisis, and one challenge is to continue the good work being done in our synod to feed hungry people in our communities and around the world through ELCA World Hunger. We want to listen to each other: What are your hunger ministries doing during this time? What “best practices” are you discovering? What changes are you making? What challenges do you have? After the series of meetings is held we will communicate our findings, best practices and hunger stories with the entire synod.
