ELCA Advocacy Network Conference Call: August Recess Possibilities
ELCA Advocacy Staff will hosting a 30-minute virtual check-in to discuss opportunities to interact with policymakers in your locality and on current priority issue updates. Most years, the U.S. Congress recesses for the month of August. Senators and representatives return to their state and/or congressional district and reconnect with constituents. This is a great opportunity for local advocates to ask questions and share concerns. Additional background can be found in the “August Recess Guide.” Including opportunity for question and answer time with policy staff, join the “ELCA Advocacy Network Conference Call: August Recess Possibilities” on Thursday, July 22 from 1-1:30 p.m. EDT.
