Michigan Safe Indoor Ventilation Program

Posted: March 19, 2025 image

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) launched the MI Safe School Indoor Air Ventilation program in December 2022. This program provides an additional mitigation strategy for clean air and respiratory illnesses such as asthma, RSV, influenza, and COVID-19.

MDHHS has teamed up with a leading supplier of safety and prevention equipment, and a manufacturer of portable air cleaning systems, to serve our partners in the state of Michigan. This system promotes clean air, and fosters safe, healthy environments.

This no-cost program has been extended to Faith-Based Organizations. The units can be used for offices and communal areas.

While supplies last, you can take advantage of this free HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) Ventilation System by completing this form MI Indoor Air Ventilation Program – Request Form.
