TheNortheastern Ohio Synod is hosting an Intentional Interim Training for rostered leaders. The training is provided by the National Association of Lutheran Interim Pastors (NALIP) and is hosted by the Northeastern Ohio Synod at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Stow, Ohio (Akron).

The training will be held in three phases: Phase I: May 8-12, 2017 (starting at St. Stephen): Phase II Projects/Critical Incident Reports (completed individually in one’s home/interim ministry context) ; and Phase III: November 6-10, 2017 (back at St. Stephen).

The one-time registration fee for all three phases is $1,145, and covers the cost of the trainers, the extensive training binder, and meals and snacks. Registration forms and fees are due to the Northeastern Ohio Synod office one month before Phase I.

For those traveling, the Northeastern Ohio Synod reserves a block of hotel rooms at a reduced rate at the Hampton Inn in Stow. Hotel cost is separate from registration and the responsibility of the student.

This training is open to all pastors of the ELCA, Full Communion partners, and the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod and results in a 60-hour certification.

Updated course information will be available first quarter 2017, including an updated registration form.
