The Publicly Engaged Church Committee of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod will be hosting a day-long educational event on Saturday, June 17, at University Lutheran Church in East Lansing. This event, billed as Lutherans Always Reforming: A Day of Social Change Conversation, will begin at 9:00 AM and conclude with Closing Worship at 3:00 PM. Keynote speaker for the day will be Dr. Craig L. Nessan, Academic Dean and Professor of Contextual Theology at Wartburg Seminary (Please see attached informational flyer). A variety of workshops will also be offered throughout the day focusing on topics the PEC Committee is addressing.
