Walking Together: A Day of Inspiration and Training for Congregational Leaders
Saturday, November 4, 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at Zion Lutheran Church 350 Pearl Street Cadillac
The theme of this year’s gathering: “How to Be a Faithful, Effective Leader…and Enjoy It!”
Some may wonder if this kind of leadership is possible…we’ve seen it and we know it is! Whether you are a congregation council member, a committee or ministry team chairperson, or other leader in your congregation – Walking Together is a day designed to encourage and equip you for your work.
The day will include inspiring worship, a keynote offered by Synod Vice-President Sandy Schlesinger, and nine different workshops presented by leaders in our synod on topics including:
- Leading through Change
- Your Budget Tells a Story
- Preparing for the National Youth Gathering
- The Fine Print – Legal and Practical Considerations for Congregational Leaders, and more.
The full list of workshops is outlined on the registration form. We will do our best to honor all workshop requests as our presenters’ schedules allow.
Cost for the day is just $10/person with a maximum of $50 per congregation. Registration Forms must be submitted to the Synod Office. Registration closes October 26th.
