Understanding the financial realities of ministry and of an event of this nature, the ELCA has limited funds available for scholarships to help in off-setting the cost incurred by attending this event. This is intended especially for those individuals who are in financial need and whose congregations or ministry settings otherwise would not be able to offer subsidy assistance. Each scholarship application must be signed by the applicant and their synod bishop and returned before on the deadline (March 8).
