Synod Council recently approved the creation of the North/West Lower Michigan Synod ELCA Youth Gathering Fund, which seeks to make the ELCA Youth Gathering more accessible for families and congregations in our synod. The aim is to provide 100 $250 scholarships for the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering. Congregational Leaders can apply for these funds by completing this online application.
Congregations and individuals are welcome to give to this fund by mailing a check, designated “ELCA Youth Gathering Fund,” to the Synod Office or by donating online and selecting “NWLM Synod ELCA Youth Gathering Fund” from the dropdown menu. Thank you those who have already contributed to the fund, raising $11,000 of the $25,000 goal. We hope many will join us in being church together and providing for the youth of our synod!
