Zoom Meeting: Supporting Our Communities Amid SNAP Benefit Pauses

The recent government shutdown has resulted in a potential pause in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits here in Michigan. This development will have a serious impact on many of our neighbors who rely on these resources to feed their families.

To help us respond faithfully and effectively, the North/West Lower Michigan Synod will be hosting a Zoom meeting to discuss how we can support those affected and coordinate our efforts across congregations and ministries.
