End Gun Violence Michigan is hosting a series of summer teach-ins, trainings and actions. The first Teach-In will be held July 21, 2022 from 7:00-8:00pm ET via Zoom.
July Teach-In: Gun Violence in America & Michigan
This Zoom teach-in will focus on the state of gun violence in America (who is harmed and how), the recent landmark federal gun violence legislation, the June Supreme Court decision striking down some gun laws, and a plan of action for the fall to put pressure on our legislature.
Speakers will include US Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, Dr. Patrick Carter, Director of the University of Michigan Firearm Injury Prevention Institute, Celeste Kanpurwala, Michigan President, Mom’s Demand Action for Gun Sense, and more!
