Some lay leaders are called to support and accompany their pastor in providing pastoral care to persons who are ill and/or homebound. This event provides training in administering home communion and skill-building, confidence-boosting exercises in pastoral care. Participants are encouraged to read “A Primer in Pastoral Care” by Jeanne Stevenson-Moessner (Copyright © 2005, Augsburg Fortress) prior to the event.
