Winter Wellness – Synod Connection Day
ALL are invited to our first-ever Synod Connection Day – a time for fun, worship, learning and fellowship! Come for as much as you’re able and choose the activities that interest you.
Thursday, January 22
Outdoor Evening at Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park
6:00PM – Luge**, skate, snowshoe or cross-country ski at the Winter Sports Park
**Please note that the luge activity costs $35 – RSVP will need to be in by January 10
Indoor Evening Option
6:00PM – Worship at Frist Lutheran Church, North Muskegon, followed by a trivia night, dinner at 7pm
Friday, January 23
9:00AM – Morning worship followed by a Learning Session on Faith and Art
Early lunch on your own
12:00PM – Afternoon visit to the Muskegon Museum of Art ($12)
A time of cake, coffee and conversation will be available after the art museum, hosted by Pastor Bill Utrecht at his home.
Lodging: Shoreline Inn – 750 Terrace Point Rd, Muskegon, MI 49440. Home stays with local Lutherans will also be available. Stony Lake Camp has graciously offered a stay at their Redpine cabin for the night ($50 cost, 7 male bunks and 7 female bunks, bathroom/showers in suite, first come first serve).
